The Knott's Hotel renovation, designed by Kay Lang Associates, pays homage to the warmth and legacy of Walter and Cordelia Knott. Drawing inspiration from embossed Spanish tile, the carpet designs evoke a quilt-like pattern, rich in history and texture.

The prefunction area features a design reminiscent of broken tiles pieced together, adding a touch of artisanal craftsmanship. The corridors reflect the unique patterns found at the bottom of glass bottles, creating a nostalgic and inviting pathway.

In the lobby, a hand-tufted rug captures the essence of a distressed oriental rug, crafted with petit point loop and tip shearing techniques, offering a blend of elegance and timeless beauty.
