At Crossley Axminster, we take a collaborative approach to designing your perfect carpet. Our talented in-house designers work closely with you to create custom patterns inspired by your concepts, seamlessly integrating them into your AutoCAD files for harmonious transitions.

1. design concept

Send your design concept in for custom design development, or receive a curated package of archived patterns to begin discussions.
2. color palette

Design palettes for Axminster can have up to 16 colors. Hand-Tufted carpet doesn’t have a limit on colors. Our expert design team can assist in selecting from our 1,000 color pom box in order to expedite process and avoid pixelation.
3. scope & autocads

Please provide scope along with AutoCAD templates. Notate if the project needs to be site verified. This allows us to build directly into your plans. Our planning team will also provide a take-off and quantity matrix which can be used to develop pricing.
4. milestone dates

Identify any critical dates for presentations, model rooms, and installation. Keep us informed of any date changes throughout the process.
5. design revisions

Once designs PDFs are received and feedback is acquired, our design team is available for in-person or virtual meetings to discuss revisions or recolorations throughout the design process.
6. sampling & prints

Upon approval, designs are ready to be sampled. Our designers will cut a sample of each desired pattern. Full scales prints are available upon request.
7. floods & seaming diagrams

Once designs are selected, our planning team will produce a flooded floor plan showing the designs within each space along with a detailed seaming diagram. Prior to installation, our team will also provide a detailed installation package.
8. approvals & production

After each pattern is sampled, flooded, and approved, we can move into the production and ordering process.
